Σήραγγα Καλογερικού – Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – April 28, 2017

This is our entry in Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – April 28, 2017.

This photo was taken in Greece, on the Tripoleos Kalamatas/E65 highway, as we drove from Náfplio to Olympia on the Peloponnese peninsula. This is the Σήραγγα Καλογερικού (Kalogeriko Tunnel), which is 750 meters long under an imposing hill. As we drove up, we saw that our side of the tunnel was closed, with arrows directing us to shift to a lane on the left side.  Luckily, arrow signs are universal, so which way to go wasn’t all Greek to us.
