This is our entry in The Daily Post Photo Challenge: Textures.
These dried legumes (pulses) were offered for sale in a market in Huế, Vietnam. I always want to scoop up a handful, to feel the texture, but I never do.

It is very hard not to touch food in the markets. It is laid out so beautifully.

I can quite imagine 🙂 That’s something we miss in Scotland, is open air markets like those. Everything we get comes in plastic packets from the supermarket – all very boring!
