Focused on a flower

Today was the first day to really try out our new Lensbaby Composer Pro II with Sweet 35 Optic. The sweet spot in the photo below is the orange flower, and blur increases with distance from that sweet spot.  Lensbaby users recommend starting with flowers and warn of a steep learning curve, beginning with frustration in learning how to focus and compose shots and ending with love of the final products. We can testify that we are still in the frustration stage, but with occasional glimpses further ahead.

This photo was taken on August 10, 2017, using a Lensbaby Composer Pro II with Sweet 35 Optic (lens) and a tripod.  Specs are:

Canon 100D, ISO 1600, 1/4000 sec, 35 mm.
