The Rice Terraces of Sa Pa — Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Horizontal Line(s)

This is our entry in Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Horizontal Line(s).

We spent a few days in Sa Pa, Vietnam, in 2017, including trekking to the Ta Van village. This trek offered stunning views of rice terraces as we passed through the countryside. There were seemingly endless horizontal lines of embankments holding back the constantly flowing water to nurture the rice plants. The following image shows one of the views along the way.
