We are taking a photo class to help pass time during Covid. Subjects are hard to find since we are social distancing. Every day we take a short walk for exercise. I look for flowering weeds to photograph during the walk. I am especially interested in weeds with UV reactive flowers. To my surprise, the seed head of the common dandelion fits the bill. The following is a close-up photo of one I found this week illuminated by a 390 nm flashlight. It reminds me of fireworks.
