Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Signs

This sign is placed next to an elevator in Hotel Lal Niwas in Philodi, a city near the Thar Desert in the state of Rajasthan in India.
Readers may recognize the name of Philodi, since it was reported in the news on May 19, 2016, as achieving the highest recorded temperature in India, an impressive 51° Celsius (123.8° Fahrenheit).
This photo was taken in early November 2014 with an Olympus TG-3 camera with settings aperture f/3.1, time 1/50 second, and ISO 320.

I love the links to the India adventure….gave me a good laugh! The sign seems to fit your adventure….

Philodi was a last-minute addition to our itinerary and it was certainly a roll-with-the-punches kind of place. We did meet some very nice people there (outside the hotel) and have good (as well as funny) memories. We are Fawlty Towers fans, obviously, and now Basil the Rat has an extra special meaning for us.
