Land of 10,000 Buddhas

We were walking around Chiang Mai yesterday trying to shake off jet lag from 24 hours of flying. We found Wat Chedi Luang, the largest temple complex in the city, and spent an hour visiting it. Just after we left, we saw hundreds of small Buddhist flags. We walked about 100 feet to see the flags and found Wat Phan Tao, a wooden Buddhist temple. Inside was an altar with the Buddha in this photo.

The beauty of these temples is incredible and they seem to be everywhere!
