This photo was taken near the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Myanmar. The young people are sweeping the terrace that surrounds all the temples and pagodas in the Shwedagon Pagoda complex, in order to gain merit by cleaning the surfaces upon which the many worshipers and visitors walk barefoot.
