Pho Bowls at Coc Ly Market

This is our entry in The Daily Post Photo Challenge: Order.

In February 2017, we visited the Coc Ly Market, a local market near Sa Pa, Vietnam, that is open only on Tuesdays. At this market, you can buy clothing, spices, vegetables, farming implements, fertilizer, seeds, handicraft, and a haircut, as well cows, goats, horses, water buffaloes, pigs, and dogs. Locals sit at long tables eating steaming pho and drinking a strong alcoholic rice liquor, while enjoying each other’s company. We especially liked the display of colorful pottery pho bowls with chopstick hole that were offered for sale.
