An Uncommon Garden Lizard — Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge — February 11, 2018

This is our entry in Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge — February 11, 2018.

This common garden lizard was unconciously stealing the show at Buduruwagala near Kataragama, Sri Lanka. After we had photographed the religious site from every angle, we came across this fellow in dappled light on a large black rock.  We asked our guide why the lizard stayed still long enough for us to take photos, and he replied that the lizard probably wanted a tip.  Our interest in the lizard drew more tourists, and he continued to pose as we left.
