A Safe Space

This is our entry in The Daily Post Photo Challenge: Place in the World.

Riding down a country road in a busload of tourists, I briefly saw (and snapped  a photo of) a still-narrower tree-lined road beyond a paint-flecked gate. As is frequently the case, I didn’t fully appreciate the image until I could see it on the “big screen.” The image is slightly soft (after all, it was taken from a moving bus) and ethereal: to me, it suggests a peaceful haven, my safe space.

This photo was taken on April 28, 2018. Specs are:

Olympus TG-4, ISO 640, f/4.9, 1/160 sec, 30.6 mm.
