This is our entry in Lost in Translation’s THURSDAY’S SPECIAL: PICK A WORD IN AUGUST – YEAR 4. The word is “connubial.”
Back in the day (not so long ago), we helped build a driveway Halloween haunt every year for the enjoyment of many neighborhood children (and from farther away when the word spread over the years). The haunt of 2011 was probably the most ambitious and complex, telling a story of a jilted suitor, intrigue, murder, and lingering horror. The newly-wed couple posing in the photo below never left the wedding chapel, but graciously welcomed each guest.
This photo was taken on October 29, 2011. Specs are:
Canon PowerShot SD770IS, ISO 80, f/2.8, 1/60 sec, 6.2 mm.
Very cool skeleton couple! I love Halloween! Sounds like y’all had a lot of fun with your driveway scenes. 🙂
