Paris Blooms

There are always flowers in Paris, somewhere. Here is a selection of blooms we saw in 2015.

The first set of pictures shows a fountain and a close-up of fuschia blossoms in front of the fountain. This fountain is near one of the campuses of the Paris-Sorbonne University.

These photos show two yellow and white compositions, reversing the color of emphasis.

White blosoms catch the eye in the next photo.

Finally, if you are in Paris with no time to walk around leisurely looking for blooms, try to set aside time to visit the Musée de l’Orangerie in the Jardin des Tuileries. This last photo is a detail from Claude Monet’s Water Lilies: Green Reflections. This panoramic panel is our favorite of the eight in the two large oval rooms showcasing Monet’s set of eight compositions.
