This is our entry in Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – August 11, 2017.
This photo was taken in the Pentagon City Metrorail station. With the shallow depth of field allowed by the f/1.4 aperture, the destinations on the sign are in focus, while the waiting passenger just beyond the sign is recognizable but softly blurred. There is only a suggestion of the coffered ceiling vaults of the subway tunnel.
