Les Colonnes de Buren

This is our entry in The Daily Post Daily Prompt: Organize.

Les Colonnes de Buren (formally Les Deux Plateaux) are located in the inner courtyard (Cour d’Honneur) of the Palais-Royal in Paris, France.  The black and white striped columns of varying heights are organized in a grid, providing a contemporary foreground for the mid-17th Century palace, a mixture of Baroque and Neoclassical  architecture, built as the personal residence of Cardinal Richelieu.
