This monkey was sitting on a wall near the beginning of our climb to the very top of Sigiriya Rock in Sigiriya, Sri Lanka. While we were toiling upward, he was leisurely enjoying the mid-morning snack that he had stuffed in his neck pouch.

Did you manage to climb all the way to the top? I stopped at the cave paintings. The monkey is Sri Lanka were a bit aggressive. 🙂
