Circling the Queen Mary: A Riveting View

This is our entry in Dutch goes the Photo!’s Tuesday Photo Challenge – Circle.

After years of service, the ocean liner RMS Queen Mary became obsolete and was converted to a permanent exhibit/hotel in Long Beach, California. We spent a night there before sailing to Hawaii on a Carnival Cruise. The Queen Mary is a photographer’s paradise. One of the photos we took while on board shows the lines of circular rivets down the side of the ship. It was taken from the porthole in our stateroom.
