This is our second entry in Lost in Translation’s Thursday’s Special: Pair.
This pair of cobras in a pair of baskets is responding to the movement of a pungi (musical instrument) as a snake charmer plays it in front of them. This little traveling show was set up on a raised sidewalk near Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic), a Buddhist temple in Kandy, Sri Lanka.
