This is our entry in Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge – May 5, 2017.
This is the entry hallway leading to a flat we rented in Paris, France. We knew that the flat was on the first floor (i.e., the floor above the ground floor), but the first time we arrived, we were puzzled about which set of stairs to take: the spiral staircase on the right or the straight stairway in the back. (We chose the blue stairs.)

This photo was taken on May 6, 2015. Specs are:
Olympus TG-3, ISO 800, f/2.0, 1/30 sec, 4.5 mm
This is a real nice which way for this week. 😀

In 1970 the Royal York hotel in Toronto, Ontario had a Lobby floor with 1 or 2 Mezzanine floors above that and then the room floors started their numbering (at one) above that. The elevators indicated a 13th floor, but it was really about 15 or 16 by then. There was also a great basement level full of shops.

Love the blue which even shades the floor towards the rear
