This is our entry in Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Words that end in “ock”.
On April 10, 1912, the RMS Titanic anchored near Queenstown, Ireland, to board its last 123 passengers for its first transatlantic voyage. Two tender ships left from the dock pictured below (arguably in better condition in 1912), with 10 first- and second-class passengers in one tender and 113 third-class passengers in the other. Ferrying was completed by 1:30 pm, and the Titanic departed.
